CAREL’s isothermal humidifiers use high-temperature steam to ensure maximum hygiene, eliminating microorganisms while delivering precise, reliable humidity control. Because the steam is generated at boiling temperature, it is inherently aseptic when it leaves the cylinder, which makes these systems the standard choice for spaces where air quality is regulated or clinically significant.
The lineup covers all three major steam generation technologies. Electrode units offer simple installation and low first cost for offices and light commercial spaces. Resistive units produce clean, mineral-free steam with tight tolerance control, making them well suited to cleanrooms, laboratories, and healthcare applications. Gas-fired models handle large capacities at a lower operating cost per pound of steam, making them a practical fit for industrial facilities and central air-handling systems with significant humidification loads.
Across the range, these systems offer high efficiency, continuous modulation, and durable stainless-steel or coated components for long service life. Continuous modulation matters in practice: rather than cycling on and off, the humidifier tracks the load and holds relative humidity steady, protecting sensitive processes and equipment from swings in either direction. Onboard controls integrate with building automation systems, and a full selection of steam distributors, from dispersion tubes to short-absorption manifolds, ensures complete absorption in the duct or air handler.

Herrmidifier Humidifiers
Herrmidifier’s steam humidifiers provide reliable, high-purity humidity control for commercial, industrial, and specialty environments. The lineup includes electrode and self-generating steam units, such as the Herrtronic® and MD Series, which produce clean, mineral-free steam ideal for offices, labs, data centers, cleanrooms, and healthcare spaces.
A key strength of the Herrmidifier line is water-quality flexibility. Depending on the model, units operate on standard tap water, softened water, or demineralized water, so the system can be matched to the water treatment already available at the site instead of forcing a costly upgrade. Self-generating units paired with demineralized water deliver the mineral-free steam that pharmaceutical, laboratory, and healthcare applications demand, while electrode units keep first cost and installation simple for general commercial spaces.
Precise electronic controls modulate output to follow the actual load, holding the space at setpoint without the swings that on-off humidifiers produce. Multiple steam distribution options, including duct-mounted dispersion tubes and short-absorption panels for air handling units, ensure the steam is fully absorbed before it reaches downstream components.
